Peter Thomas CBE

Chairman

Peter is a very well known and respected businessman throughout Wales and the UK. With his father, brother and sister he built a national savoury foods business, Peter's Savoury Products which, in 1988 was sold to Grand Metropolitan plc for in excess of £95m. Atlantic Property Developments plc was created following the disposal of PSP and Peter has since built the company into one of the leading property development companies in Wales.

Peter's entrepreneurial skills are further highlighted by his involvement in Festival Parks Europe Ltd, the company responsible for several major integrated leisure and retail developments including Scandinavia and Mallorca. The award winning Festival Parks Mallorca attracts in excess of 3.5m visitors each year since it opened its doors in 2002.

Out of the office, Peter's passion is rugby. He is President of the Cardiff Blues and is passionate about helping to deliver European success to the supporters of the club. Peter and his wife, Babs, are major benefactors of the performing arts in Wales.

Peter was appointed CBE in June 2012 for services to business, sport and charitable work in Wales.

Craig Davies

Director

Craig joined Atlantic in 2001 from a background in residential refurbishment and trading in new apartment developments in and around South Wales. Craig spent 18 months on secondment with Mowlem South Wales before returning to Atlantic and project managing residential developments in Cardiff, Burry Port and Heritage Gate within the Llandarcy Urban Village Scheme.

Craig completed the Merthyr Retail Leisure Village development and oversaw the sale of the scheme in 2014 to Legal & General. Craig now runs the investment business, overseeing a portfolio of over £20 million of assets in the UK varying from hotels, high street & out of town retail as well as commercial office buildings.

Zoë Loxton

Financial Director

Zoë joined Atlantic in May 2011 to oversee the accounting and financial management of the Atlantic group of companies. She most recently worked for the NHS but had progressed her career working for Arriva Trains, where she had gained Chartered Management Accountant status.

With both management accounting and financial accounting experience she is responsible for producing the annual accounts for all group companies, along with useful management accounts information for decision making. She works alongside the Directors providing financial information on a day-to-day basis. From payroll to cash flow forecasts, budgets to filed accounts, investment rates to providing PA duties to the Directors, her role evolves in line with the business needs.

Zoë has a BA Hons degree in business management from UWIC and has been an associate member of The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) since 2003.
